DRY THE AMAZON’S TEARS

Every year hundreds of thousands of birds, reptiles and mammals are stolen from their habitat in the Amazon and sold to mafias trafficking in exotic species.

The third largest mafia market after drug and weapons trafficking.

The Peruvian police force has detained one of the biggest traffickers guilty of this practice that does so much damage to our planet’s environment.

These policemen and women continue their work quietly and decidedly….

We are used to being asked for financial and moral aid for Associations and NGO’s which work to protect wildlife….

In DONKEYS&BIRDS we consider that these policemen and women are those who really do more to prevent this drama.

Uniformed men and women who work day after day to stop the Amazon being plundered of species which set off on a sorrowful journey to their destination and which, in many cases, die before they arrive.

THE AMAZON FILLS WITH CRIES

In our International "Donkeys & Birds" Exhibition we are going to dedicate a stand to this situation.

Furthermore, we will create a platform to support these agents of the law and raise awareness in people to refrain from buying exotic animals fraudulently.

We have named our project….

DRY THE AMAZON’S TEARS….

Work with us from wherever in the world you are by sending ideas and suggestions, and sharing our videos and articles.

SUPPORT THE AMAZON…
